Mark Anthony Quackenbush, 64, of Macon, Georgia passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 30, 2021. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Mark's favorite pastime was fishing. He found great joy in taking his grandchildren to his favorite spots. He loved major league football and the Georgia Bulldogs. He also enjoyed exploring old cemeteries, visiting Greg Allman's grave and geocaching with his significant other, Susie. If you were ever at his house you could hear the news on the television playing in the background. Being a self-employed Real Estate Appraiser for over 20 years Mark was known for working 23 of 24 hours in a day.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents Barry Quackenbush and Jackie Wright Quackenbush. He leaves behind his daughters: Sarah Quackenbush; Step-daughters Sondra Wilson (Clay) and Stephanie DeFoe (Sean); his significant other Susie McAbee; his brother John-Robert Quackenbush; sisters: Michelle Quackenbush, April Leonard-Canalia and Rhonda Stevens; three grandchildren: Tyler Wilson, Slade Wilson and Addy DeFoe; however, Mark will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
