Mark Newberry

Mark O'Neal Newberry, 57, of Midland City, Alabama formerly of Macon, Georgia passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017. Funeral Services to celebrate his life will be held Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Macon with the Reverend Marty Watson officiating. The family will have a time of visitation with viewing Friday, February 24, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Born in Ariton, Alabama to the late Milton O'Neal and Faye Newberry, Mark was a die hard Auburn Football Fan, War Eagle! When he wasn't watching football, Mark enjoyed fishing and camping. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed anything that allowed him to spend time outside. When Marks boys were younger, he was extremely active in all their school activities and sports. He was a past board member of Windsor Academy and previously coached little league for Bloomfield Little League. Mark was also the owner and operator of his own business, Newberry Trucking. Above everything he was an amazing Father, Grandfather and Friend to all who knew him.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving sons; Daniel Newberry (Nichole) and Tyler Newberry. One Grandson; Nikolas Newberry. Two Siblings; David Acreman (Cindy) and Gary Newberry. A very special aunt, and caregiver, Myrtle Sutton (Gerald).As well as several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
