Marian Pope Griffin, 69, of Lizella, Georgia passed away at her home on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 with her family by her side. The family will have a time of visitation at their home: 601 Creekview Drive, Lizella, Georgia, on Friday, October 29, 2021 from 6pm-9pm.
Marian was born February 1, 1952 in Macon, Georgia to the late James and Elizabeth Wall Pope.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 37 years, Wayne Griffin; two daughters Lindsey (Matt) Sigmon and Suzanne (Burnon) Childers both of Lizella, Georgia; five grandchildren: Kacie, Kaitlyn, Gage, Jackson and Brooklyn; seven greatgrandchildren; her brother Larry Pope of Asheville, North Carolina; her best friend Shirley Pope of Asheville, North Carolina, who has always been there for her; two nephews: Steve and Brad, both of Asheville, North Carolina.
