Marilyn Ray

Marilyn June Young Ray, 76, of Macon, passed away on March 13, 2020 at the age of 76. The family will have a time of visitation on Monday, March 16, 2020 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of FairHaven. Mr. Richard Williams will officiate. Immediately following the service, Marilyn will be laid to rest in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband of many years; Robert Ray. Also her parents David and Mary Young and brother; Ronald Young.
Marilyn and Roberts union was blessed with three children; Kathy Huggins (Calvin), Scotty Ray, and Wendy Chapman. Additional survivors include her grandchildren Jennifer Lemoine (Kevin), Calvin Huggins III (Heather), Zack Huggins, Amy Chapman, Erica Huggins, Kaylyn Miller (CJ), Amanda Chapman (Chavon) and Erin Huggins. Also grandchildren of the heart Brittney Davis (Shawn) and Lindsey Lloyd and a host of 14 great grandchildren.
Marilyn was born July 11, 1943 in Bardstown, Kentucky. She worked at Brown and Williamson as a Fab Tech for 31 years. In her spare time Marilyn enjoyed traveling, playing cards, and shopping. Marilyn also loved spending time with family and friends.
