Marilyn Owens

Marilyn T. Owens, 78, of Byron, Georgia passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 15, 2016 in the Byron Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Brad Blackmon and Reverend Roy Taylor will officiate.
A visitation will be held Monday, March 14, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. in Fairhaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road Macon.

Born in Coffee County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Verdie Austin Taylor. She was retired from the Keebler Company.
Mrs. Owens was a member of the Byron Baptist Church and the Sunshine Scatterers Sunday School Class.

She is survived by her husband, John M. Owens of Byron; daughter, Merideth Thomas (Ron) of Locust Grove, Ga. Brother, Roy Taylor (Peggy). Two Grandchildren and Six great Grandchildren. Step-children, Sheri Spillers (Gene), Jim Owens (Joyce), Sarah Roberts (Rodney) and Merry Line (David). Seven step-grandchildren and eleven step-great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews.
