Marilyn McCain Howard, 71, of Macon, Georgia passed away peacefully on Friday, February 14, 2025. A graveside service to honor her life will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025, at 11:30 AM at Magnolia Park Cemetery. The family would like to invite friends to join them from 10:00 -11:00 AM for a time of visitation at Fairhaven Funeral Home before the committal. Pastor Ronnie Hollis, Jr., will officiate the services.
Marilyn was born on October 25, 1953, in Macon, Georgia to the late Mr. William Dixon McCain and Mrs. Dorothy Margarett Collins. Marilyn was a woman whose love for God and family was evident in everything she did. She cherished her time at church and loved sharing the message of Jesus with others, always encouraging those around her to grow in faith. Marilyn instilled this passion in her children, teaching them from a young age to pursue Jesus with all their hearts. She found peace in reading her Bible with a cup of coffee in hand and was known for her incredible homemaking skills, especially her cooking. Marilyn made her home a warm, welcoming haven where her family could gather and find comfort in her food, fellowship and crafts. Her nurturing spirit and devotion to her loved ones will be deeply missed.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Monica Denise Senn; and great grandson, Ryan King.
Left to cherish her memories is her husband, John Lamar Howard; brother, Shawn McCain; sisters, Gloria Jean Fourshee, Brenda Reynolds (Lynn); grandchildren, Amber King (John David) and Jeremy Harris (Kayla); great grandchildren, Kasen, Kohen, Bodhi, Ariel, Serenity, Arabella, and Elsa.
