Marie Williams Price: 89, of Macon, Georgia passed away Monday, April 25, 2016. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road. Pastor Tommy Freeman will officiate. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. till 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home before the service.
Born in Adrian, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late James Samuel Williams and Arfelia Bell Miller Williams. She was the widow of Curtis L. Price Sr. She was a member of Bloomfield United Methodist Church, where she participated in the Busy Bee's Womens Group.
Mrs. Price was a homemaker and had worked in the cafeteria at Sonny Carter Elementary. She was preceded in death by her son Curtis L. Price, Jr. and six brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her children, Joel Price (Brenda) of Lizella,Ga.; JoAnn Jones of Macon; Six Grandchildren and Nine great Grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews.
