Margie Richards

Margie Pritchard Richards, 94, of Macon, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Sunday, December 11, 2016. Funeral Services to honor her life will be held Friday, December 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Greenwood Baptist Church with Reverend Joe Ferguson officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service, with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m.
Born in Griffin, Georgia, to the late Jefferson Davis and Oddessie Pritchard, Mrs. Richards was a long time member of Greenwood Baptist Church. Most of her time and energy was spent with the church, where she taught the Heartstrings Sunday School Class. When not involved in church activities, she loved to work in the yard and sew. Above everything, her infectious smile will be missed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Richards was preceded in death by her first husband, James Lyons, and her second husband of 27 years, John Richards as well as one grandson, Todd Wilson.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Theresa Wilson (Gary), Grandchildren; Chuck Wilson and Tracey Wilson. Four great grandchildren, Six step great grandchildren, Two great great grandchildren and Two step great great grandchildren.
