Margaret Proctor Whitby, 91, of Byron, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020. Due to COVID-19 a private graveside service to honor her life, will be held in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with Reverend Jerry Doughtery officiating.
Margaret was born on April 29, 1929 in North Carolina to the late William Proctor and Sarah Carey. She worked the majority of her life as a homemaker and was a member of St. Andrews Christian Church.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents as well her husband; Elam Whitby.
Left to cherish her memory is her family; Children; Donald Whitby (Debbie), Wayne Whitby, Rita Whitby, and Sara Whitby. Grandchildren; Eric Gooding, Misty Gooding, Phillip Whitby (Sarah). Great grandchild; Ellie Whitby.
