Margaret King

Margaret Marie Sammons King, 84, of Perry, went to be with her loving Lord and Savior Thursday, January 12, 2017. Graveside services to honor her life will be held Monday, January 16, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The Reverend John Marc Cooling and Pastor Trey Dickerson will officiate.
Born on May 1, 1932, to the late Alonzo and Cora Sammons, Margaret loved her Lord Jesus Christ more than anything. She was a homemaker the majority of her life and adored spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents as well as several siblings.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving family. Four children: Larry King (Lenora), Sharon King Gilkey (Larry), Paulette King Taylor (Don), and Mark King (Karen). Seven grandchildren: Yvonne King (Greg Lala), Charity King Tirado (Pete), Maria Thomas, Stephen Kipa (Kim), Jessica King Williamson (Brannon), Stephanie King Purse (Damian) and Amanda King Cooling ( John Marc). Twelve great-grandchildren: Paxley Tirado, Pierce Tirado, Alexandria Pugia, Zane Thomas, Robert Kipa, Abigail Williamson, Natalie Williamson, Samantha Williamson, Madison Purse, Micaiah Purse, Elijah Cooling and Reese Cooling. Two Brothers: Bill Sammons (JoAnn) and Jack Sammons. But Margaret will be loved and missed by all who knew her.
