Margaret Donaldson

Margaret Lois Donaldson, 98, of Lizella, went to meet her Lord and Savior, one day shy of her 99th Birthday, on Tuesday July 3, 2018. Services to honor her life will be held at FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Macon, on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 3:00 PM. Reverend Russ Bozeman and Reverend Tripp Hodges will officiate. The family will greet friends in the funeral home starting at 2:00 until service time.
Margaret was born on July 4, 1919 to the late Mr. John D. Williams and Mrs. Emma Wainwright Williams. She took great joy in being a member of Fellowship Church. Some of her favorite pastimes were camping, reading and she loved the Atlanta Braves! Above all she loved her family and grandchildren.
Preceding Margaret in death is her husband of over 50 years, Tommie M. Donaldson, her parents, a son; John Donaldson, a brother; John Henry Williams, a sister; Betty W. Mullis, and her great-grandson Logan Murphy.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving family: a son, Tommie M. Donaldson, Jr. (Mary), a sister; Dorothy Bowden, brother-in-law Leland Mullis of Douglas, grandchildren: Debbie Hodges (Tripp) of Lizella, Penny Murphy (Rich) of Lizella, and Christopher Donaldson of Lizella. She also leaves behind great-grandchildren: Emma Hodges, Allie Hodges, Sophie Murphy, and Sean Murphy, as well as several nieces and nephews. Margaret will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
