Marea Connie Exline of Jones County, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024. The family will have a graveside service on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 2:00 PM in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Reverend Marty Watson will officiate.
Marea was born in Sao Miguel, Azores; Portugal on August 20, 1936, to the late Mr. Manuel Ferreira and Mrs. Maria Josie DeRego. She was of the Catholic faith. In Marea's free time she enjoyed fishing, gardening, and enjoying the outdoors. She was very expressive, always talking with her hands and an accent that was unforgettable. Marea was cheerful, full of joy, always smiling and loving on her family every day. She will be missed by her family dearly.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Warren Frank Exline; daughter, Linda Exline Mullendore; and four siblings.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Barbara Jean Exline of Gray; grandson Michael Mullendore (Jordan); great grandchildren, David and Emerson; and a sister, Gilda Moniz of Rhode Island.
In lieu of flowers and donations, the family graciously asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital; www.stjude.org in Marea's honor.
The family will accept visitors at Diane Alford's residence; 113 Pineworth Pointe Drive Macon, Georgia 31216.
