Marcos Varela

Marcos Nava Varela, 66, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on December 1, 2020. The family will have a private memorial service at First Baptist Church of Christ, Macon, on Saturday, December 12, 2020, at 11:00 am. There will also be a memorial service at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, Macon, on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at 7:00 pm, and also one at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warner Robins, on Friday,
December 18, 2020, at 6:00 pm.

Marcos worked in concrete cutting and landscaping, eventually starting his own landscaping business. He loved being a father and spending time with his children¸ and he enjoyed spending time with family members, listening to music and dancing. He always enjoyed life to the fullest.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving family: his wife of 16 years, Carolyn Penley; five children, Marco Antonio Nava Flores (Magui), Beatriz Nava Flores, Leticia Nava Flores, Elizabeth Anne Nava and Nicholas Alexander Nava; five grandchildren, Luis Felipe Morales Nava, Melissa Morales Nava, Lluvia Aline Nava Elias, Nayra Mirelle Berruecos Nava and Leah Adelyne Nava Elias; and several sisters and brothers. He had many friends who will also greatly miss him.
