Majorie Chana

Majorie Babb Chana, 88, of Macon, passed away Friday, March 23, 2018. Funeral services to celebrate her life will be Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 390 Pierce Ave, Macon, GA 31204. Reverend Andrew M. Lewis will officiate. Mrs. Chana will then be laid to rest in a private family ceremony, at Glen Haven Memorial Garden on later date.

Born in Leesburg, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Franklin and Blondie Babb. Marjorie was a hard working woman her entire life, receiving numerous career achievements throughout her life. Marjorie was also a very generous and caring person who loved providing humanitarian care and loved animals. She was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all of those who loved her dearly.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband of 30 years James Chana and daughter Susan William Grasmick.

Left to cherish her memory is her family. Her son: James S. Sutton III. Her brother: Herman Dunn and her two grandchildren: Nelan M. Sutton and Dillon J. Sutton.
