Madelyn Leverette

Early Sunday morning the Lord called home another angel, Madelyn L. "Bootie" Leverette 58, of Macon, Georgia joined her heavenly home, Sunday, March 8, 2015.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Centerville Cemetery, Centerville, Georgia.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. till 8: 00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Macon.
Born in Macon, She was the daughter of the late Hardison and Mary Greathouse Leverette. She was preceded in death by her brother, Isaiah Malcolm Leverette.
Bootie was very special to our family, she loved her sewing and coloring and everything had to be neat and in its place. She loved her gameshows, especially Wheel of Fortune and Let's Make a Deal, where she would organize her snacks in her pockets for her T.V. time.
She also enjoyed going with our mother on her visiting trips to see relatives in Ft. Valley, Perry, and Byron. Bootie loved her jewelry, her Charlie Cologne, and her Elvis music. She enjoyed the holidays, Ho Ho Santa, Turkey Day and especially her birthday. Bootie was a blessing to our family and will be dearly missed.
She survived by her loving brothers and sisters, Marvin O. Leverette (Faye) of Kathleen, Georgia; Ann Hancock (Ronny) of Lizella, Ga.; Melvin Leverette(Darlene) of Byron, Ga.; Martin Leverette(Maggie) of Macon, Ga. Two aunts, Ina Goodin of Montgomery, Alabama and Joanne Smoot of Gray, Georgia, as well as many nieces and nephews
The family would like to especially thank Angie Blackburn, Laurel Baye Nursing Home and Pruitt Healthcare Macon for the loving care they gave Bootie.
