Lynda Wells

Mary Lynda McCook Wells, 72, of Macon, Georgia passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2017. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Porterfield Baptist Church with burial in Mount Olive Baptist Church Cemetery, Fitzgerald, Georgia at 3:30 p.m. Reverend Sam Waldron and Reverend Bob Hamilton will officiate. The family will have a time of visitation on Friday, May 5, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. in Fairhaven Funeral Home.
Born in Fitzgerald, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow McCook and Thelma Fitzgerald McCook. She was a member of the Porterfield Baptist Church for over 50 years and attended the Faith Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by a son, Steven Craig Wells.
She is survived by her husband, Jacob Brooks Wells. Children, Keith Wells(Dixie), Phil Wells(Cristi) and Jeff Wells. Brothers, Ken McCook(Linda Sue) and Randall McCook. Sister, Jean Phillips(Kyle). Six Grandchildren.
