Lucy Couch

Lucy Alma Boykin Flanders Couch, 91, of Macon, Georgia passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021. She was born in Berrien County on May 15, 1930 to the late Willis Steven Boykin and Ruby Etna Suggs Boykin. She had lived in Macon since 1957 and was retired from the city of Macon.
Survivors include daughters, Patricia Flanders Scott(Jack), Phyllis Flanders Robertson(William) of Macon; sons, Jeffery and Lamar Flanders of Macon, Frank Flanders of Byron; brother, Wayne Boykin(Cindy) of Adel, Sisters, Nell Leveille of Hahira and Myrtice (J.P) Morgan of Nashville, Ga. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Barney Flanders and Hugh D. Couch Sr. two sisters, Mary Alice Davis and Wilma Boykin, brothers, Julian, Bill, Gerald, Marshall, and Vinson Boykin.
Also the family wants to thank her care takers, Mary Johnson Davis for all the help and support she gave the last few years. Also the family wants to recognize not only Mary , but her special friend, Annie Butts Evans.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Her brother, Wayne Boykin will officiate the service.
