Lon was born on October 13, 1967 in Macon, to late William Lonza Radford, Sr. and Gwendolyn Marlene Radford. Lon worked the majority of his life as a tow truck driver, most recently working for Mike Adams Towing. He truly enjoyed his job, but his passion was hockey, especially Macon Mayhem. Lon tried attending as many games as he could. When he wasn't working, or enjoying a hockey game, Lon was spending time with his family, they were his greatest love. His children and grandchildren meant the world to him. Lon had a sense of humor like no other and from the day he was born until the day he passed, he didn't care what anyone thought, he lived his life to the fullest, and never missed a opportunity to tell an inappropriate joke.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving family; His children; Kristie Murray (Josh), Ricky Brock, Gage Radford (Elizabeth), and Dalton Radford (Jenna). Grandchildren; Josie Murray Madison, Zayden, and Raegan. Siblings; Marlene Bruce, Cheryl Whitaker (Jim), Ginger Broski, and Willette Waterman (Craig) as well as his wife; Christa Radford, several nieces, nephews and his Macon Mayhem Family.
