She took immense pride in her job, always decorating the cafeteria for every holiday and season and taking a genuine interest in the lives of the children she saw every day. It brought her so much joy to interact with them, so much so, that after her retirement as lunchroom manager, she came back to work as a cashier. In her free time, Lois loved to yard sale. She lived for waking up early every Saturday morning to attend a estate sale or yard sale in search for a good deal. Above everything, she loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed.
