Lois Marie Evans Lloyd, 82, of Byron, passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2021. A memorial service celebrating Mrs. Lloyd's life will be held on a later date.
Mrs. Lloyd was born on May 5, 1939, in Macon, Georgia to the late James Garner Evans and Thelma Irene Caldwell Evans. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church. Mrs. Lloyd retired from C&S Bank, where she worked as a teller. She spent her free time shopping, gardening, and collecting angel figurines. Mrs. Lloyd loved her family, her dogs, and horses.
Mrs. Lloyd was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, James T. Lloyd; daughters, baby girl Meredith Lloyd, Tomeka Farguson, and Carla Hamlin; and son, baby boy John Farguson.
Mrs. Lloyd is survived by her daughter, Catherine Ellison; grandson, Branden Pearce (Katie); sisters, Brenda Hindman (Bill), Barbara Burnette (Ronnie), Virginia Dobson, Peggy Morgan, Faye Bennett (Grady), and Gwen Schlap; brother, Jim Evans (Patricia); and several nieces and nephews.
