Linda Faye Smallwood "Nanny", January 22, 1950- August 5, 2015--Macon, GA, age 65 passed away surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, August 5th, 2015. Funeral services will be at 10 o'clock, Saturday, August 8, at New Haven Baptist Church in Gordon, GA. The family will greet friends and family on Friday evening from 6 until 8 o'clock. Mrs. Smallwood was born in Laurens County to the late Charles and Edith Willean (Maddox) Fordham. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She attended Dudley Hughes High School, was a seamstress at Happ's Manufacturing and retired from The Medical Center of Central Georgia. She was a devoted member of New Haven Baptist Church who attended church regularly until her health deteriorated. Mrs. Smallwood is survived by her children Allen Jackson Smallwood Jr.(Paula) and Melinda Janeen Lamey (Bruce); grandchildren Amber Mitchell, Sarah Smallwood (Obi Studle), Caitlin Smallwood, and Steven Mitchell; great-grandchildren Bryce, Blake, and Tucker Mitchell; sisters Charlene Kent (Glenn) and Diane Glacken (Shawn); brothers Edward Fordham (Jimmie) and Johnny Fordham (Karen).
