Linda Faye Moxley Etheridge, 76, of Bonaire, Georgia, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday July 18, 2025.
Linda was born on August 13, 1948, in Jesup, Georgia to the late Mr. Ernest Moxley and Mrs. Mary Alice Hooks. She lived a life rooted in beauty, strength, and love. With a green thumb and a deep passion for gardening, she nurtured every flower and plant with the same care she gave to those around her. Her garden was a reflection of her vibrant and resilient spirit. She found peace and joy in the mountains, where she often traveled to reconnect with nature and herself. Fiercely independent and strong-willed, Linda faced life's challenges with unwavering determination. As a loving wife, mother, and devoted caregiver, she gave endlessly of herself, offering comfort, wisdom, and compassion. Her legacy blooms in every life she touched and in every flower that grows in her memory.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Etheridge, and son, Jimmy Etheridge.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Sheila (Derek) Jones, Cindy Whitehead, Duane (Scarlett) Collins, Tonya (Pook) Chulawat, and Eric (Bobbi) Etheridge; stepchildren, Micheal Etheridge, Patricia (Eddie) Wiscup, and Michelle Ramsey; and multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
