Linda J. Eller, 73, a lifelong artist and beloved mother and wife, passed away peacefully on March 24th, 2025. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
She was raised in Macon, by her parents, Fred and Joy Jones. Linda graduated from Mercer University with a degree in Art. Linda lived passionately, engaging in gardening, painting, and crafting. She dedicated 33 years to art education in Middle Georgia. As a former directing member of the Macon Arts Alliance, she inspired countless students with her teachings in various art forms. Linda is remembered for her vibrant personality and lasting impact on her students, who often returned to share their successes.
Some of her greatest personal works varied from life-sized murals, to intricate still life's, which are displayed throughout her home for her family to remember her by.
She is survived by her husband, Mike; son, Mikey; daughter-in-law, Mary; and her pets. Wherever Linda went, the colors and paints followed soon after. Her legacy in the arts and her spirit will continue to inspire those who knew her.
