Leroy "Roy" Morgan

LeRoy "Roy" Morgan, 91, of Ft. Valley, Georgia passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023, at Atrium Health of Peach County with his loving family by his side. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home. The family will have a time of visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time in the funeral home. A committal service will follow in the Open Bible Church Cemetery on Sandy Point Rd in Lizella, Ga. Reverend Herbert Williams and Pastor Brandon Spillers will officiate.

Born in Irwin County, Georgia he was the son of the late Earnest and Beler Morgan. He was a member of Open Bible Church in Lizella, Ga.

In addition to his parents, Leroy was preceded in death by his loving wife of 68 years Mavis Richardson Morgan; siblings, Randolph Morgan, Hazel Green, and Joseph Morgan.

He is survived by his children, Michael L. Morgan (Denice) and Marsha L. Harper (Dwight; sister, Francis Bradford; Four grandchildren, Ten great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
