Lee Rearden Zittle, 67, of Gray, Georgia, passed away on April 22, 2026.
A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at FairHaven Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service for a time of visitation. Reverend Ron McClung will officiate all services.
Lee was born on November 12, 1958, in Monticello, Georgia, to the late Mr. James Foy Rearden Jr. and Mrs. Alva Hume Rearden. She was a woman with a deep love for life’s simple joys and a heart full of compassion.
In her younger years, Lee had a special passion for animals, particularly horses, and spent much of her time caring for them. That love continued throughout her life, extending to her cherished dogs, who brought her great comfort and companionship. She also enjoyed walking, often spending time on the local track, finding peace and clarity in those quiet moments.
Lee will be remembered for her loving spirit, her strength through life’s challenges, and her deep devotion to her family. She faced hardships with resilience, and her family takes comfort in knowing she is now free and at peace.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her devoted husband of 27 years, Robert “Bob” Zittle; her brothers, Foy (Mimi) Rearden and Allen (Cindy) Rearden; her beloved fur babies, Sofi and Yogi; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will miss her dearly.
Lee’s life was a testament to enduring love, quiet strength, and the comfort found in family and faithful companionship.
