Rhonda Leah Hendricks Patton, 67, of Macon, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. Funeral services to honor her life will be held on Saturday, May 3, at 12:00 PM in the chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service time. Burial will be private.
Leah was born on September 23, 1957, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Mr. Tommy Hendricks and Mrs. Betty Pinnell Hendricks. She retired from the Bibb County School System, after many years of service, where she served as lunchroom manager, making sure all "her babies" were fed. Leah loved spending time with her family, friends, and especially her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her passion for caring for others, always putting all others before herself.
In addition to her parents, Leah was preceded in death by her life partner, Bill Dekle.
Left to cherish Leah's memory are her children, Jacob Patton (Ronda Sawyer), Amy Crowley (Chuck), and Brooke Hancock (Logan); grandchildren, Anna Crowley, Jackson Crowley, Mason Crowley, Camdin Patton, Kaiden Culver, Sailor Hancock, and Murphy Hancock; sisters, Donna Hendricks, Tina Hendricks, and Angie Hendricks; and best-friend of 55 years, Kathy Diulio.
