Lawton Tillery

Lawton "Bob" Hubert Tillery, 92, of Macon, Georgia passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 12 noon at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 5455 Mt Pleasant Church Rd, Macon, GA 31216,. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Reverend Lee Griffin and Pastor Ronnie Hollis, Jr. will officiate. The family will have a time of visitation on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. till 12 noon at the church.
Born in Trafford, Alabama, he was the son of the late Robert Wilson Tillery and Martha Self Tillery. He was a retired electronics technician with the Federal Aviation Association at the Macon Regional Airport.
He attended Mount Pleasant Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his son, Troy Lee Tillery.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Virginia Proctor Tillery, daughters, Frances Tillery Ham and Deborah Tillery Porter (Robert). Six Grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
