Lavera Ann "Peggy" McGlon, 80 of Lizella, Georgia passed away Friday, September 24, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family. A graveside services will be held Monday, September 27, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Reverend Benjamin Newberry will officiate.
Born in Macon, She was the daughter of the late Rayburn and Addie Laverne Brown. She was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie McGlon.
Mrs. McGlon was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Albert Earl McGlon, children, Dale Childs(Chris) and Ricky McGlon, Six grandchildren, Thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
