Laurie Nell Potts Stone, of Macon, Georgia passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 29, 2024. A memorial service to honor her life will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home. Pastor Ed Chambliss will officiate.

Mrs. Laurie was born in Macon, Georgia on April 24, 1969, to Mr. Donny Joe Potts and Mrs. Ruth Jean Potts. She was a former member of Porterfield Baptist Church. Laurie was a devoted Nurse for many years before retiring. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and crafting. Back in the day, she would slip away to enjoy the simplicity of camping with her family. Above all, her family was the light of her life, especially her grandbabies. Her nurturing spirit and caring heart will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Gene Potts; grandparents, Cynthia Nell and Howard Monthie.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Benjamin Keith Stone; son, Cody Stone (Faith); grandkids, Riley and Jovie Stone; father, Donny Potts; aunt, Judy Monthie Doyun (Bekir); and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
