Laura Evans

Laura Gracie Evans, two months old of Macon, GA, passed away on November 26, 2017. She was born on September 8, 2017, prematurely at 29 weeks gestation. She was born at a gas station in Clinchfield, GA in the back of an ambulance. Her parents were evacuating from Hurricane Irma. She has accomplished so much in her short time on earth. She's our perfect angel. She was smart, playful cute and she loved to be kissed on, she was a cuddle bug. She is loved and missed deeply.
She is survived by her parents, Robert Evans and Schawanene Hensley; her brothers, Zachary, Chase and Kinneth Tesi; her grandparents, Ryonda (David Hall) Dean, Frank Evans, Kathy (Charles) Jones, Mark Hensley, Rose (Thomas) Trout, her aunts and uncles, Kelli (Aaron Stepp) Spaulding, Amanda (Barry) Runyon, Tonya (Clinton) Ward, Crystal (Gary Blevins) Trout, Kayla (Jonathan) Trout, Chasity Workman, Toni Workman, Jeannie Workman, Tiffany Stewart, Dustin (Amanda) Smith, Brian Blevins, Ethan Evans and Jacob Hall; her great aunts and uncles, Clyde Duty, Debbie Savage, Brenda (Sidney) Blevins, Ireland Hudson, Phyliss Little. Ronnie (Bridgette) Trout, Doug Hensley, Kathrene Hensley, Sherry Hensley, Mary Lou Hensley, Billy Hensley, Cobby Hensley, Trudy Cider; her cousins, Jason (Missy) Savage, Nicholas Savage, Jeramiah Plymale, Kalib Blevins, Brian Blevins Jr., Amber Fitch, Cassie Fitch, Stevie Fitch, Katelyn Spaulding, Daniel Spaulding, Caleb Ward, Breawna Smith, Raegan Smith, Sophia Smith, Adalynn Smith, Ali Trout, Jonathan Jr. Trout, Lacy Blevins, Mason Blevins, Brantley Blevins, and Blayze Stepp.
Laura was preceded in death by her great-grand fathers, Vernice "Bud" Hensley, Tom Trout, and Ronnie Runyon, as well as her great-grand mothers, Georgie Hensley, and Betty Hudson.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2017 beginning at 1 PM at the R.E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Charlie Dingess officiating, Burial will follow at the Duty Cemetery at Delbarton, WV. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12PM-1PM.
