Larry Watson

Larry Dale Watson, 58, of Fort Valley, passed away Friday, December 16, 2016. Funeral services to honor his life will be held Tuesday, December 20 at 2:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home Chapel. The family will greet friends Monday, December 19 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Macon.
Born in Macon to the late Lonnie and Marie Watson. Larry worked in construction and was employed by Ricky Walker Drywall. He was an avid fisherman and loved camping and being outdoors. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and football and was a fan of Mark Martin. Larry also liked working on motors and attended Brookhaven Full Gospel Church when he could. But his greatest joy in life came from his family, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was an amazing father, a devoted friend, and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister; Belinda Gail Watson.
Left to cherish his memory is his longtime companion, Becky Hudgins. Six Children; Larry Watson, Jr., Lonnie Wells, Brian Hudgins, Jonathan Hudgins, Heather Durden and Stephanie Watson. 10 grandchildren, and one sister; June Norman ( Tuan Ngo). Larry will be sadly missed by all who knew him
