Larry Allen Kaase

Larry Allen Kaase, 82, of Byron, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026, surrounded by family and loved ones. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on December 6, 1943, the son of William and Betty Kaase. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and Pa-Pa. He was a Vietnam veteran, and retired from the U.S. Army as a CWO3 after 20 years of honorable service.

He is survived by his children, Missy (Jason) Batchelor, Matt (LeAnne) Kaase, Daniel (Jennifer) Kaase, Michelle Kaase, and Bruce (Gina) Kaase; and grandchildren, Elijah, Makayla, and Gideon Batchelor; Bryant, Isabella, Chloe and William Kaase; Ryan and Olivia Kaase; Jessica and Eric Kaase; and Bruce Jr. and Katelyn Kaase. He is preceded in death by his wife, Joy Kaase, and son, Josh Kaase.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 31, 2026 from 2:00 to 4:00. Family and friends will be received at the home of Missy Batchelor at that time. A private ceremony honoring his military service will be held at a later date at the Andersonville National Cemetery.
