Born in Greene County Georgia Larry was the son of the late John Henry and Mary Lou Hardigree. To say Larry was a hard worker would be an understatement. He spent the entirety of his life working and providing for his family. Some men enjoy fishing or playing golf but Larry truly enjoyed work, it made him happy. In high school Larry labored in a cotton mill and with his strong will and determination he graduated high school while working full time. After graduation he began working in HVAC and later opened Hardigrees Heating and Air. He was also a Boilermaker and member of the Boilermakers Union #26 out of Savannah. He assisted in the construction of several local businesses but he was most proud of helping with the Macon Mall and Plant Sheerer in Juliette, always being sure to point out that he helped on those projects to his family whenever they would pass the building. If those projects didn't keep him busy enough he was also a member of sheet metal workers union and the owner of Hardigree Rental Properties.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his brothers, Earl Hardigree, James Hardigree, Victor Hardigree and sisters; Peggy Holcomb and Montine Merritt.
