Larry Curtis Ard, 75, of Macon, Georgia peacefully passed away Monday, April 10, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.
Larry was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Mr. Arthur Ard and Mrs. Alice Kitchens Ard. Mr. Ard was a member of New Salem Baptist Church. Mr. Ard enjoyed all things outdoors. He spent a lot of time hunting, fishing, gardening, and working in his yard. Mr. Ard loved spending time with furbabies, Little man, Pepper, Buddy, and Sam. Above all, Larry cherished all the memories he made with his family, and the time he spent with them. He will be missed by all whom knew him.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents; Mr. Arthur Ard and Mrs. Alice Kitchens Ard.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Lynn Lawson Ard; children, Lisa Tingle (Deryl), Chris Ard (Stephanie), Candy Caldwell (Buddy), step-children, Lori Dobbins (Donald) and Gary Casas; brothers, Wayne Ard (Carol) and Dennis Ard (Melinda); sisters, Frieda Bryant (Dennis) and Marie McGraw; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and a host of several step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you graciously make donations to Jays Hope Foundation, 1157 Forsyth St., Macon, GA 31201.
