Kimberly Michelle Renfroe, age 55, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones after a short battle with cancer. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, May 13, at 2:00 PM at Fairhaven Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM. Rev. Tom Black and Rev. Clinton Fields will officiate. The service will be followed with an entombment in the Mausoleum of Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
Kim was born on January 29, 1970, in Macon, Georgia. Throughout her life, Kim was known for her unwavering faith, kindness and dedication to her family. She instilled in her children the values of compassion, service and deep love for God. Kim found joy in serving others and always put the needs of others before her own. She was a woman of prayer and scripture, and her faith was a guiding light throughout her life.
Kim dedicated an impressive 37 years to Geico Insurance, where she recently retired in 2023, showcasing a remarkable work ethic and commitment to growth. Beginning in the mailroom at just 16 years old, she rose through the ranks to management, leaving a permanent mark on the company and its employees. Her dedication was recognized through numerous awards and her impact extended beyond her own accomplishments, as she generously mentored countless employees along the way. Her commitment to lifelong learning was evident in her earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wesleyan College in 2020, a testament to her perseverance and drive.
Left to cherish the memories they made with Kim are her loving mother and father Donald and Sharon Easler, of Lizella; her former husband of 23 years, Chipper Renfroe of Macon; 2 wonderful children, Brandon Renfroe (Kelsey) and Jessica Renfroe, both of Macon; granddaughter, Brynleigh Renfroe; brothers, George Dean of Charleston, SC and Jeff Easler of Macon; special niece, Roxanne Faulkner (Kelley) of Mt. Pleasant, SC and numerous very close loving family members and friends that were family.
