Kevin Ballard

Kevin Joe Ballard, 60, of Macon, Georgia passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 21, 2023.. The family will have a time of visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home. The family will also greet friends immediately following the service at Living Waters Fellowship, 6120 Thomaston Rd, Macon

Joe was born in Macon, Georgia on December 20, 1962 to the late Bob "Pabob" and Barbara Ballard. He spent a majority of his life in the family business, Ballard Brothers Electric Company serving as an electrician. Mr. Ballard was avid in his faith, and currently a member of Fellowship Community Church. He found true joy in the outdoors. Often times he could be found in his garden. Joe made hot sauce, pickles and a handful of homemade foods/sauces from his garden. He liked to fish, wood working and cooking. Mr. Ballard was a good listener, and a friend to many. He volunteered his time helping those in AA recovery. His contagious laugh, funny jokes and kind spirit will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Ballard is preceded in death by his brothers; Wayne, Mark and Bobby.
Left to cherish Joe's memory is his former wife of 15 years, Renee (Jeff); children, Joseph, Jonathan (Nikki), Violet (Damon); grandchildren, Devin, Abbygail, Andrew, Makayla, Nevaeh, Joseph, Landon, Colton, Ethan, Layla, Joy and JoJo, a host of extended family including, Melissa (Micah), Hendrix, Liam, Archer, Keith and Jeffrey.
