Kenneth Lee Kockentiet Sr.

With deep love and gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of Kenneth Lee Kockentiet Sr., 89, of Lizella, Georgia, who entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 14, 2026.

Born on January 12, 1937, to the late Mr. Aaron Henry Kockentiet and Mrs. Ada Mae Stephens Kockentiet, Kenneth lived a life centered on faith, family, and enjoying the simple blessings around him. He found great joy in bird watching, woodworking, and traveling, especially making memories in the mountains. Above all, Kenneth treasured time spent with those he loved.

In honoring Kenneth’s wishes, there will be no services held at this time.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his son, Kenny Lee Kockentiet Jr.

Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife of 68 years, Shirley Ann Kockentiet; his daughter, Tammy (Dennis) Keene; his daughter-in-law, Betty Kockentiet; along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will continue to carry his memory forward.

Kenneth’s life was a quiet testament to love, dedication, and the importance of family, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
