Kathleen Rowland

Kathleen Bailey Rowland, 90, of Byron, Georgia passed away Saturday, October 18, 2014. Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, October 20, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, 7070 Houston Road. Reverend Jason Blankenship will officiate. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 19, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Fairhaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road.

Born in Roanoke, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Fred Bailey and Charlotte Bailey. She was retired from Robins Air Force Base and was a veteran in the Army.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie George Rowland, Jr. She is survived by her sister Eula B. Hoover, daughters, Charlotte (Steve) Land of Byron and Kathy Thompson of Byron; Grandchildren, Kristy (Mike) Doles, Becky Parker, Katey (Kessler) Ray, LeAnn (Brandon) Jones, George (Myranda) Mosely, Emily Mosely, and Alisha Bivins; Great-Grandchildren Tori Mosely, Mackenzi Mosely, Connor Doles, Garrett Doles, Reilly Doles, Griffin Parker, Korbin Ray, Hayden Jones; Great-Great Grandchild Isabella Kirkland; Niece Diane (John) Keys, and many other special nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, or Hospice Advantage.
