Karen Sofchak Davis born December 31, 1957 gained her angel wings on Monday May 1, 2023. The family will hold a celebration of her life that will be announced at a later date.
Karen was born in Macon, Georgia but has been a resident of Gray for more than 25 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Doris & Edward Sofchak, stepfather Dr. Donald D.Clark, granddaughter Maci Issabella Compton, late husband Ricky Dale Davis, and her fur baby Kytin Bren Davis.
She is survived by her daughter Melissa Davis of Gray, grandson & light of her life Gavin Compton of Gray, 2 bonus granddaughters Adalynn & Kinzleigh Tallart of Fort Valley, brother Edward "Joey" Sofchak (fiancé Chris Graff) of Panama City Beach, Fl, & several nieces & nephews.
Karen was a lover of the beach, dancing, cooking, music, & spending time with her family & friends. She was a retired school teacher & employee of the Bibb Co board of Education. She was a devoted supporter of the The ALS & Lupus Foundations of GA.
