Karen Bailey
October 22, 1957 — February 26, 2025
Karen Ann Williams Bailey, 67, of Macon, Georgia ran home into the arms of her Savior on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. A graveside service to honor her life will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Pastor Tim Sizemore will officiate.
Karen was born on October 22, 1957, in Roswell, New Mexico to Mr. Guy Freeman Williams, Sr. and Mrs. Minnie Lou Williams. Karen was a woman whose life was filled with love and simplicity. She had a deep passion for horses, enjoyed tending to her garden, and found joy in reading. Her gentle nature and kind heart shone through in everything she did. Karen was courageous, always showing strength even in the toughest of times, yet her kindness remained unwavering. She took great pleasure in small indulgences, like getting her nails done, but her true joy came from being surrounded by her family. Above all, Karen was a devoted daughter, mama and nana, pouring her love into her family, especially her beloved grandson, Ryder. Her legacy of love, care, and dedication will live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know her.
She is preceded in death by her father, Guy Freeman Williams, Sr; and sister, Marsha Len Williams.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Samantha (Lennie) Partain; mother, Lou Williams; sons, Jason Bailey, Lamar Bailey; brothers, Tommy (Marsilea) Williams and Guy (Anita) Williams; grandchildren, Ryder, Nevaeh, Landon; nieces, Wendy, Jackie, Sofia; and a host of several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
