June Lee Mullis Thomas, 81, of Macon, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023. Funeral services will be private.
June was born on June 1, 1942, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Mr. Thomas Howard Mullis and Mrs. Eva Jo Ragsdale Mullis. She retired from Bibb County Courthouse, where she worked in the finance department as an administrative assistant. June enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers. Above everything, she loved spending time with her dog, Max.
June was preceded in death by the father of her children and second husband, Leo L. Thomas, Jr.
June is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Kenney (Brian); grandchildren, Josh Mata (Jenny) and Travis Hatley; great-grandchildren, Nolen Mata and Camden Mata; and brothers, Tommy Mullis (Liz) and Mickey Mullis (Tena).
