Judy Bano Harden, Jr. "Chuck" passed away peacefully January 24, 2017. Funeral services to honor his life will be held Sunday January 29, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Macon with the Reverends Gary Lamb and Danny Howell officiating. Immediately following the service Chuck will be laid to rest in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery The family will greet friends Saturday January 28, 2017 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home
Born in Macon, Georgia to the late Judy Bano Harden, Sr. and Geraldine Harden, Chuck was a graduate of Central High School. Shortly after graduation he joined the Macon Fire Department where he worked for several years before becoming an EMT for Mid Georgia Ambulance. Chuck also worked for the Macon Police Department for roughly thirteen years, where he was part of the SWAT team, and a field training officer. After his time in public service, Chuck worked several jobs including being a Mediator for the court system and the proprietor of Hanoia Hanks, where he became known as the "Hankster". Most recently, he worked as a massage therapist and a volunteer with the Middle Georgia REACT team, working with the Bibb County Sheriff's Department (#944).Chuck loved shooting and was an expert marksman. If anything ever happened, everyone would want Chuck on their side. He was a member of Ingleside Baptist Church.
Left to cherish his memory is his soulmate of 21 years, Tammy Farmer. Two Daughters; Christy Harden Gillam (Damon) and Krista Farmer Lopez (Jeremy). Sister; Gina Harden, Niece; Melanie Wilson (Eddie), Nephews; Lance Harden, Shawn Harden, Reagan Skinner and Jeffery Skinner. Great Nieces; Jordan Parrish, Harlie Birt, and Kaylee Wilson. As well as his best friends; Don Donaldson, Gary Hammontree, Allen Aiken, Alan Martin, Ronnie Hesloc and family.
