Judith Palmer

Judith Ann Palmer (Hudgins), 79, of Macon passed away peacefully on Friday, July 5, 2024. The family invites friends to join them for a time of  visitation at Fairhaven Funeral home, July, 9, 2024, from 6:00 PM -8:00 PM. A funeral service to honor her life will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Fairhaven Funeral home. Immediately following the funeral service, Mrs. Ann will be laid to rest in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Jeff Powell will officiate the services.


Mrs. Palmer was born August 8, 1944, Macon, Ga to the late Mr. Hugh Hudgins and Mrs. Marion Rozar Palmer. She retired from Bellsouth after 35 years of service, as a supervisor. After retirement she went on to work with Access Integrated Network and then Perry Parkway Self Storage. She was very dedicated and a hard worker. She gave back to the community with Telephone Pioneers of America, where she gained many friends. Mrs. Palmer enjoyed arts, crafts, sewing and spending time with her family. She was very artistic and could do anything with her hands. She was a member of Safe Harbor Church in Macon, Ga.


Mrs. Palmer was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Marvis Lamar Palmer, son Marvis Lamar Palmer, Jr. Sister; Jean H. Bennett, brother, Wayne Hudgins; half sister Dee Hudgins, and a half brother, Billy Hudgins. Left to cherish Mrs. Palmer's memory are her daughters, Debbie Still, Denise Pace, Dawn (Dustin) Benson. Grandchildren, Chris Revell, Brett (Hannah) Revell, Jimmy (Jessica) Wright, Heather (Josh) Whaley, Bryan (Kellie) Still, Emilee (Zach) Peaster, Austin (Katrina) Benson and many great grandchildren she loved dearly. Brother, Gerald (Bonnie) Hudgins, sister, Susan Rigby; half-brothers, Steve Hudgins, Sidney Hudgins, half sisters Sheila Harris and Kay Hudgins; and a host of many nieces and nephews. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
