Joyce Harrell

Joyce B. Harrell, 81 of Fort Valley, Georgia was called to her heavenly home on January 23, 2024, after a brief illness and hospital stay. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 2 p.m. in Bethel Baptist Church, Lizella, Georgia. A burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Jerry Garner and Reverend Paul Whitton. The family will have time of visitation on Friday, January 26, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. in Fairhaven Funeral Home. Born in Fort Valley, she was the daughter of the late Henry Clovis Bunch and Doris Giles Bunch. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Derry Harrell, sister, Linda Yates and great granddaughter, Keira McCord. Mrs. Harrell was a retired Technical Writer from Robins Air Force Base with 30 years of service. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church, where she attended Sunday School and volunteered with Operation Christmas Child, AWANA, Women's Ministry and other various activities at the church. She is survived by her sister, Carol McKee (Roger), children, Raymond Wood (Lisa), Renee' Stevens (Johnny), Ronnie Wood(Darlene), and Robin Drew; Grandchildren, Brandon and Logan Wood, John, Ben, and Krysten Bush, Ashley Mullikin(Walter), Cody (Jennifer) and Cory Heath, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
