Joyce Chiarello

Joyce Ann Deems Chiarello, of Warner Robins, Georgia passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024. She will be laid to rest at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, privately with her family.

Joyce was born in Douglas, Georgia on October 28, 1946, to the late Mr. Jonas Franklin Deems and Mrs. Eva Stinger. She was a devoted wife to Mr. Jim Chiarello up until his passing. She devoted 30 years to Southern Belle, now known as AT&T before retiring. After retirement, she returned to school and took up her interest in the Medical Field. She obtained certification in EKG, Phlebotomy, Medical Assistance, and Instructor of Health Technology. Joyce enjoyed listening to the Eagles, Elvis, watching Twilight, bowling or dancing away in the ballroom. She brought an immense amount of joy to all those who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her late husband, Jim.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving children, Timothy Scott (Gretta) and Dale Benson (Lisa); brother, Tommy Deems (Lilla); grandchildren, Dakota Benson, Stormie Suddeth (Luke), Shelby Heath (Dylan), Saylor Benson, Ciarra Payne (Ian); great grandchildren, Hux, Sage, Stetson, Hollis, Emory Cate; and her loving four-legged babies.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to the wonderful individuals that helped care for Mrs. Joyce in her last month and showed her an immense level of compassion, William (Bill), Robin, Alicia, Kelly, Karen, Crissy, Renee and Diane.

In lieu of flowers or donations, the family asks that you graciously make donations if you feel led, in Joyce's honor to one of the following; St. Jude's Research Hospital, Macon Animal Shelter, or any Law Enforcement Support Center.
