Joy Borders

Joy Ousley Caston Borders, 87, of Zephyrhills, FL, passed away on February 10, 2020. The family will have a time of visitation on Thursday, February 13, 2020 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mt. Pleasant Church Rd, Macon. A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 14, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Marty Watson will officiate.
Mrs. Borders was born on January 16, 1933 in Griffin, Georgia. She was a faithful employee for AT&T for 35 years. She worked in the business office but could do almost anything there. In her free time, she was very active. She enjoyed bowling, clogging, and golfing.
Mrs. Borders was preceded in death by her loving husband; John E. Borders.
Left to cherish her memory is family; her daughters; Denise Banks, Kim Quick, Melody O'Kelley, and Shannon Caston. Step children; Amy Purser, Jody Borders, and Randy Borders. 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Borders sweet spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
