Joshua "Josh" Morgan Cherry, 38, of Lizella, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, November 4, at FairHaven Funeral Home, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Josh was born on April 9, 1984, in Warner Robins, Georgia. He was a self-employed construction worker. Josh was very talented with his hands; there was nothing he could not fix. He spent much of his free time fishing, grilling, and painting. Josh loved his family and spending time with them, especially his son, Jayden, whom was the light of his life. He will be remembered for his big heart and his sense of humor.
Josh was preceded in death by his mother, Cherry L. Maddox and father, Cecil Burkhalter.
Josh is survived by his son, Jayden Joshua Cherry; brother, Phillip Maddox (Cassey); father, Allen Maddox; special grandmother, Helen "Nanny" Kimber, grandmothers, Paula Lindsley (Larry), and Ethel Maddox; aunt, Tracy Lindsley; uncle, Kelly Lindsley; and several extended family members.
