Josephine Brown

Josephine Harris Brown, 89, of Ellenwood, Georgia, joined her husband Harold Clifton Brown in heaven on Saturday, March 14, 2020. A joint funeral service to celebrate both their lives will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 12:00 noon at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be immediately following in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Brown was born on May 11, 1930 in Lizella, Georgia to the late Mangum and Beaular Harris. She worked as a Dental Assistant for the majority of her life and was of the Baptist Faith. She attended Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church as well as East Atlanta Baptist Church.

Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Harold Clifton Brown, one son; Terry Brown and 10 siblings.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving family. Her son; Steve Brown and his wife Susan Brown, 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. As well as one sister; Nell Sullivan.
