Johnny Coley

October 9, 1963 — July 13, 2025

John Edward Coley Jr. "Johnny" passed away Sunday July 13, 2025. A memorial service to honor his life will be 2:00 PM Thursday July 17, 2025, at FairHaven Funeral Home. The family invites friends to join them for a time of visitation one hour prior to services. Pastor Ferrell Kitchens will be officiating all services.

Johnny was born October 9, 1963, in Macon, Georgia to the late Mr. John Coley Sr. and Mrs. Betty Estes Coley. He lived a life full of laughter, love, and unforgettable stories. A true outdoorsman at heart, he found joy in fishing at sunrise, cracking open a cold Miller Lite by the fire, and camping under the stars. His garden was a labor of love, and his cooking, especially around a grill, brought people together. He had a deep appreciation for classic cars and classic country music, often humming along to the old tunes that filled his heart. Johnny never met a stranger; he was a talker, a friend to all, and the life of every party. His weekly Dollar General runs were legendary, and he always came back with something that made you smile. Above all, Johnny had a big heart and an even bigger love for his family. His warmth, humor, and presence will be deeply missed, but forever remembered.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Danny Coley.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 26 years Debbie Hill; sons, John (April) Coley, Gregory Hill, Roger Whitman; brothers, Tony (Marie) Coley, Gary Cunningham; sister, Vickie Ramage; grandchildren, Maddie Coley, Jaxon Coley, Peyton Hill; many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
