Johnny Cleveland

April 14, 1954 — March 25, 2021

Johnny Earl Cleveland, 66, of Roberta, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2021. The family will have a time of visitation to greet friends on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home, before making their way in procession to Macon Memorial Park Cemetery for a graveside service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Johnny will be laid to rest with military honors.
Johnny was born on April 14, 1954 in Spaulding County, Georgia to Jack Levan Cleveland, Sr. and Jennie Claudene Ray. He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force for 4 years during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a 100 percent disabled veteran and was extremely proud of his service in the military. When his time in the Air Force ended, Johnny still felt compelled to serve his community and became a Crawford County Sheriffs Deputy. He faithfully served, and protected Crawford County for over 30 years. Johnny was willing to lay his life down for his community as well as his fellow officers. In his free time, he loved riding his motorcycle, fishing, as well as various hobbies including collecting Star Trek memorabilia. Johnny loved his country, and his community, but above everything, he loved his family.
Johnny was preceded in death by his father; Jack Levan Cleveland, Sr. and brother; Frankie Lee Cleveland.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 32 years, Angela Kay Cleveland. Children; John Eric Cleveland (Jennefer), Jack McGreggor Cleveland (Tiffany), Christopher Michael Bennett (Abbie) and Helen Christine Wilson (Charles). Mother; Jennie Ray, Grandchildren; Eric Marshal Cleveland, Korey Mason Cleveland, Holly Kay Cleveland, Wyatt Earl Cleveland, Maryann Bennett, Carolina Bennett, Johnathan Ryan Johnson, Jeremiah Johnson, Sidney Wilson and David Wilson. One great grandchild. Siblings include Jack Cleveland, Jr. (Carla) and Danny Ray (Jennifer) as well as his dearest friend, Charles Sanferrare
